What Was Your Goal in Training to Be a Hypnotist with Cascade Hypnosis Center?:
My goal in training with Cascade Hypnosis Center was to help more people and learn a modality that would help people make the changes they really desired to make but weren't able to do on their own. I saw my clients struggle to make those changes, and the missing piece was hypnosis. Hypnosis also enables me to help people in other areas of the country via the internet.
Who do you really want to help with hypnosis - who is your ideal client?:
I love helping all my clients, whether it's weight loss, anxiety, confidence or smoking. My ideal client wants to quit smoking without gaining weight, has lost self confidence because they smoke, and has anxiety over quitting! My ideal client is motivated to change, has struggled in the past to make those changes, and needs some help. They've tried other things and just haven't seen the lasting change they want, and they are ready to try hypnosis.
What do you want to say to your ideal client listening to this video now?:
You can do this. You can make the changes you want to make with hypnosis more easily than ever before. Hypnosis is fast and effective and you don't have to do it alone. I will be here to help you every step of the way.
What were your reservations about becoming a hypnotist?:
I didn't have any reservations about becoming a hypnotist. When I was in high school and working at McDonalds, I had been hypnotized to lose weight. I had experienced the power of hypnosis, knew it could help create lasting change, and had the feeling of certainty. I can still hear my hypnotist's voice decades later.
What has training with Cascade Hypnosis Center for Training & Services done for your credibility and confidence?
CHC gave a thorough, professional training. CHC and Erika have a great reputation, and Erika is such a good hypnotist and teacher. She believes in her students and their abilities.
Tell us about the obstacles (such as personal blocks, physical obstacles, life situations) you overcame while training:
Personal blocks while training (test anxiety).
How did we help you overcome them?:
Erika made me feel at ease, capable and confident.
What activities did you engage in to launch your hypnosis business?:
Networking group and started working at Cascade Hypnosis right away
How did training at Cascade Hypnosis Center for Training & Services prepare you for seeing clients?
With Erika's training, support and encouragement, I felt prepared to start seeing clients right away - and I did. I didn't feel like I needed more training to help people, and that was a first for me. She really encouraged her students that they knew enough to help people and that they were going to be effective.
How has training with us helped you achieve your life goals?:
The training at Cascade Hypnosis Center is top notch. The culture is positive and growth-oriented, along with all the people we get to help. CHC has given me the skills I need to help more people, which is my goal.
How does it feel to be helping people in such tremendous ways?:
I feel honored to be a part of people's journeys, and it is a joy to see them excited and hopeful about their life.
Can you share an anonymous inspirational client "win" that demonstrates what you do and how you help people?
I have helped people with trichotillomania, and the experience of seeing the wonder on their face when they come in the next week and haven't pulled [an eyelash out] or have greatly reduced is so gratifying.
I had a client who stopped smoking after 72 years of smoking. He started smoking when he was 10.
I worked with a young woman (13) who couldn't sleep without her mom, which meant she couldn't stay at friend's houses or go on school trips - and she had one coming up that she really wanted to go on. By the time we stopped working together she was spending the night at friends' houses and was excited to go on her trip.
I worked with a young man (20) who, for a couple years, basically only left his house to go to work due to his anxiety. He had stopped doing the things he was passionate about, didn't socialize, and had quit school. When we were finished he had enrolled in school, picked up his passion again, and was socializing with friends.
