This week's Hypnosis Quick Tip is how you can streamline your expertise and grow quickly in the hypnosis profession.

Most hypnotists are entrepreneurs - there aren't many hypnosis companies out there hiring hypnotists. This means that most hypnotists are not only seeing clients, but they're also running a business, and that takes a lot of time.

The BEST way to gain expertise is to see clients, but that can take a lot of time. Thankfully it's something that we can continue to do day after day.

The FASTEST ways to grow your expertise as a hypnosis professional is to attend a professional hypnosis conference or convention.

There are many hypnosis conferences, but my favorite is the National Guild of Hypnotists Annual Convention held in Marlborough, Massachusetts every August.

• Meet colleagues from around the world face to face. Grow relationships with your colleagues, create connections and plan collaborations.
• Learn from  some of the leaders in the profession. There are dozens of speakers who give 1 hour, 2 hour, and 3 hour talks and workshops on all types of  topics in the profession. I am giving a 1 hour (Friday at 1pm) , and a 2 hour  (Friday at 7 pm) workshop on "Getting New Clients with Google, fast".
• Become a Board Certified Hypnotist.
• Have Fun and enjoy being in this amazing profession helping people!! Have fun, laugh, laugh and enjoy yourself! I always have a blast at this event. Make sure to attend the awards ceremony and banquet on Saturday night.
• LEARN the latest techniques and bring them back to your community. At any one time during the 3 day convention there are 10+ talks happening - so you can't attend them all. But you can buy a copy of all talks as a recording! This is enough continued education to keep you going for nearly the entire year.
