It can be frustrating but knowing isn’t always enough to fix issues in our lives. Sometimes it is. We often solve issues merely by researching and “figuring out” what to do. And that is using our conscious mind to solve the problem. If that isn’t enough, then it’s often that we know we should do something, but we don’t feel like doing it. And for that, we need to employ the subconscious mind to help us resolve that issue. And tapping in to the subconscious mind is easy with hypnosis.
Joan called me and asked if I could help her with something she’s been struggling with for over eighty years. She was still mad at her mom for embarrassing her when she was five years old. It stung back then, and it still hurt - eighty years later. Joan was eighty-five.
In hypnosis, Joan was able to forgive her mother, but it was so much more than that. Because, as usual, Joan knew she needed to forgive her mother, and she had tried but the feeling remained. Knowing is not enough. Do you find that frustrating? I did until I realized what was actually happening.
