Three Steps to Effortless Weight Loss with Hypnosis

It’s common for hypnosis clients to want to see fast results in their weight loss journey. However, it's important to note that permanent weight loss, or lasting weight loss, is what our clients really want. In this article, I will share a method to help our clients lose weight by suggesting elements of it are "effortless".

Step 1: Look for instances of "effortless" weight loss already happening in your client's life.

During one of my hypnosis sessions with Cynthia, a weight loss client, she shared an experience where she went out to dinner with her friends at a restaurant that served the best bread. 

However, this time, she only ate half a piece of bread and a quarter of the dessert. Cynthia was surprised at how easy it was for her to resist the temptation to eat more, which was in contrast to her past experiences. 

She attributed this to the work we had done together in hypnosis, which helped her focus on what she enjoyed about going out to dinner - the conversation with her friends. 

This instance of effortless weight loss surprised her, and it's important to help carry that energy along further. 

I suggested that weight loss can be effortless, and this gave her hope that it's possible to experience effortless weight loss in other areas of her life.

Step 2: Mention how often weight loss can be effortless when we're meeting our needs and paying attention to being hungry or not.

Not all weight loss journeys are the same, but we can experience moments of effortless weight loss when we're meeting our needs and listening to our bodies. When we're not fixated on food, weight loss can become effortless. 

By shifting our relationship with food and paying attention to our body's cues, we can make our weight loss journey easy. We should be thankful and grateful for the times when weight loss feels effortless.

Step 3: Mention effortless elements of weight loss become the "new normal."

The effortless elements of weight loss can become the "new normal" for our clients because they are being handled by the subconscious mind. It's easy for other elements of weight loss to also become effortless when we shift our focus and create a new relationship with food. 

Clients who experience effortless weight loss can now have time to read a book or watch a movie, instead of feeling guilty about their eating habits. 

We should weave all of these elements together in our direct suggestion with weight loss clients so they can enable the "effortless" elements of their own weight loss to become the new normal.

One of the reasons weight loss seems effortless with hypnosis is that our clients aren't thinking about food all the time. 

They have the freedom to focus on other things and to be in the present moment. They don't feel guilty or stressed about their eating habits. This creates a positive cycle where clients can experience more effortless weight loss.

In conclusion, hypnosis can help our clients experience effortless weight loss by shifting their focus away from food and towards meeting their needs and listening to their body's cues. 

By reminding them of instances where weight loss has been effortless, we can help them create a new relationship with food and enable the "effortless" elements of their own weight loss to become the new normal.
